Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Atlético y Tiro Rqta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Abelardo Berenguer. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Maxi Rodríguez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Severino Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Severino Benino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Severino Benino sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 39thth minute grab hold of the ball when Severino Benino from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Severino Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Atlético y Tiro Rqta getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Juli Álvarez hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Benino in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxi Rodríguez in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Severino Benino got a free kick in the 64th minute. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Gabriel Urritz was substituted for Damian Sylvester. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Atlético y Tiro Rqta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Severino Benino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Abelardo Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 75th minute of play. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Abelardo Berenguer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Benino in the 81st minute of the match. Abelardo Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the referee ended the match the Atlético y Tiro Rqta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
