Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Marco Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Marco Veto got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Marco Veto however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Marco Vigil got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 45 played minutes Rocky Balboa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Marco Vigil. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olgierd Jazwiec to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Jazwiec in the 51st minute of the match. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Furlan. The Rocky Balboa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Veto should have stopped the shot. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s Marco Veto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play. Marco Veto came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Marco Veto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 84th minute of the match. Torjus Rønneberg hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Rocky Balboa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Merk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 93rd minute of play forced Rocky Balboa F.C.'s goalkeeper Marco Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Veto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rocky Balboa F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
