Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Rodrigo Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 8th minute. Rodrigo Ferdinand might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Ferdinand ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Rodrigo Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Rodrigo Ferdinand made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 18th minute. With his leg Pedro Manzanares managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when International Thunders's Loukianos Staikos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the game, Loukianos Staikos lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Pedro Manzanares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 25th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Thorsten Ternes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loukianos Staikos in the 30th minute. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thorsten Ternes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Ferdinand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thorsten Ternes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 50th minute of play. 50 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of International Thunders's Thorsten Ternes. Thorsten Ternes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento, in the 56th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. In the 60th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. A well-hit corner resulted in Gernot Kellner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by International Thunders's Percival Costa. But to his dismay, Percival Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Rodrigo Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Thorsten Ternes made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loukianos Staikos in the 85th minute of the match. Percival Costa scored 4-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thorsten Ternes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The International Thunders fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
