The score was now 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 13th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Aníbal Toscano sent off a good shot on target. Marco Löhr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wolves FC - DMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Joinvilense came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Wolves FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Cadabra to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Cadabra in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldo Joinvilense to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Wolves FC - DMZ's Aníbal Toscano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ronaldo Joinvilense scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wolves FC - DMZ's Ronaldo Joinvilense got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ronaldo Joinvilense might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Joinvilense ran back to his position shaking his head. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillen Aguillar having to make a save. Guillen Aguillar made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Wolves FC - DMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
