With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Eufemio Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marinos Sarigiannidis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 76 minute of play. Marinos Sarigiannidis scored 0-7 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eufemio Andrade in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Conference League winners's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
