Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valentim Silveira kicked off to start the match. Loid Verduyckt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play forced AL-Bombarralense B's goalkeeper Ivar Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Björling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ivar Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Valentim Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ivar Björling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ivar Björling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the AL-Bombarralense B defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Björling. The AL-Bombarralense B fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Björling should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Björling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AL-Bombarralense B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valentim Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Björling was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidónio Leme in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After a rather tough play, AL-Bombarralense B's Horácio Quintas got a free kick in the 55th minute. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Björling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After 61st play minutes Cristian Sancho shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Ivar Björling and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes AL-Bombarralense B's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. 67 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Ivar Björling. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ivar Björling in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ivar Björling made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivar Björling quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Armindo Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to AL-Bombarralense B getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Horácio Quintas hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivar Björling firmly grabbed it by the left post. Timmy De Boel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes AL-Bombarralense B's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ivar Björling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
