In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibúrcio Carabajal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tibúrcio Carabajal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Camilo Gisbert made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Tibúrcio Carabajal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the game Luis Andino made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. In the 34th minute, André Luiz Iniesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Tibúrcio Carabajal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 51 minute of play. Tibúrcio Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, The Wolfpack™'s Tibúrcio Carabajal got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Siteavu in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, The Wolfpack™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanildo Beckenbauer to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibúrcio Carabajal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Carabajal having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Wolfpack™.
