Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Pipopirata F.C.'s Bartolo Raebert got a free kick in the 6th minute. Frederic Lefevre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Saul Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Bordat went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Luisito Harkaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pipopirata F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 34th minute Luciano Pio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederic Lefevre made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Eriberto Bordat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Pipopirata F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Luciano Pio hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Saul Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Frederic Lefevre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pipopirata F.C.'s Frederic Lefevre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 67th minute of play. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederic Lefevre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Eriberto Bordat charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Bordat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Pipopirata F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Bordat to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Anacleto Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pipopirata F.C.'s Frederic Lefevre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luciano Pio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederic Lefevre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pipopirata F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ecuador side.
