Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Seco during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jucuitiba:s goal. With an all-out effort, Uruguay's Doriva Figueiredo threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Escribano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Doriva Figueiredo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 14 minutes into the match, Michel Agüero notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Gayoso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Jucuitiba's Michel Agüero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredão Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. When Michel Agüero came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Jucuitiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Agüero couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michel Agüero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jorge Sainz hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão Gomes came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Nóbrega threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Arturo Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jucuitiba the free kick. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Jucuitiba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Doriva Figueiredo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Gomes in the 69th minute of the match. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Michel Agüero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Maria Vaz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Michel Agüero rounded Uruguay's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Agüero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doriva Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Luiz Guilherme Romero, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jucuitiba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
