Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves FC's Dionisio Oto. But to his dismay, Dionisio Oto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's Mario Umbruso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes in the game, Lautaro Puig fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Andres Leheren having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Mario Umbruso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute, Ryszard Michna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Mario Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mario Umbruso came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Wolves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Umbruso couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Wolves FC's Mario Umbruso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 37 minutes into the game, Wolves FC's Jāzeps Sarzāns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The score was now 1-4. 44 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Umbruso came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wolves FC were winning 1-4.

The wind increased when Mario Umbruso made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Wolves FC's Nicodim Colceriu made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicodim Colceriu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. 62 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Oto came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Nicodim Colceriu could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. In the 66th minute of the match, Mario Umbruso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Dionisio Oto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Ryszard Michna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jāzeps Sarzāns in the 79th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Benito Sanz kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-6 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Nicodim Colceriu struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolves FC. Andres Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 93rd minute of play.
