Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Zoltán Kozák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FlagellumDei's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Osasun came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Siro Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes FlagellumDei's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siro Osasun was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Osasun having to interfere. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Károly Berta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Endre Döbrögi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Siro Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gábor Puskás kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, FlagellumDei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Döbrögi to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FlagellumDei getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Endre Döbrögi hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun didn't even have to move. 68 minutes into the match, FlagellumDei's goalkeeper Siro Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Kozák, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match FlagellumDei got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tibor Pucheli ran over to the corner to take the kick. Endre Döbrögi made a great header on FlagellumDei's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Siro Osasun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FlagellumDei:s goal. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but FlagellumDei were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
