An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Carlos Jiménez in the 27th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match La Estacion FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Sein ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Estacion FC's 卓震宽 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save La Estacion FC from getting a goal against them. After 48 minutes, Camilo Gisbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the La Estacion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Joel Sein:s penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. A very good chance. 卓震宽 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Estacion FC's Henry Lagarde got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 卓震宽 saved La Estacion FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Carlos Jiménez got free with Julio Vera in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Sebastián Puig's late challenge caught a La Estacion FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Sebastián Puig helped the player get up and apologised. 89 minutes into the match, La Estacion FC's Joel Sein sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 91st minute of the match Juan Sebastián Puig completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 92nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
