Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cleiton Brasil started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Cleiton Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Cleiton Brasil came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleiton Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Humberto Gomesano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cieneguita AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Isidor in the 24th minute. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alfredo Olentzaro, made in the 28th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Bilbo in the 29th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Isidor went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Cieneguita AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cieneguita AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleiton Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Cieneguita AFC's Cleiton Brasil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruperto Quintan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 55th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Cieneguita AFC's Ruperto Quintan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Cieneguita AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Quintan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cieneguita AFC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Quintan came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleiton Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Brasil in the 74th minute of the match. Alfredo Olentzaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play.
