Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 钱军青 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. 叶默风 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 钱军青 in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to 四川攀枝花掠夺者联队 getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Clarence Telebanco hit a great ball. Guillermo Biduns short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Jacobo Nores managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when 四川攀枝花掠夺者联队's Guillermo Bidun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 钱军青 in the 39th minute of play. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 叶默风 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 53 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 钱军青 in the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, 钱军青 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 四川攀枝花掠夺者联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 钱军青 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute 钱军青 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. 叶默风 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 叶默风 having to interfere. Guillermo Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 87th minute. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 钱军青 in the 92nd minute of the match.
