The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nichifor Borăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thorsten Ternes having to make a save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Staikos in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Ferdinand notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 25th minute of play. International Thunders were furious when Lionel 柯景亦 was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute, one of International Thunders:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for International Thunders. International Thunders:s Thorsten Ternes showed great skill when he stopped Abraham Alguacil:s penalty. 30 minutes into the match, Nichifor Borăscu notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Nichifor Borăscu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Thorsten Ternes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the last second Thorsten Ternes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Staikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Loukianos Staikos made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tibor Bäuschlein managed to get in a good position for a shot. International Thunders's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibor Bäuschlein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Carlo Gerick sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Tibor Bäuschlein tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loukianos Staikos in the 64th minute of the match. Loukianos Staikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. In the 70th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thorsten Ternes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by 冯亦思 in the 76th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Borăscu in the 77th minute of play. When International Thunders's Percival Costa in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Borăscu in the 92nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibor Bäuschlein scored 0-6 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched International Thunders eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
