Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. When Galsino Briñas came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Black fox fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galsino Briñas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galsino Briñas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rigoberto Piearres didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 40th minute. Black fox's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black fox's goalkeeper Serafim Neiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

In the 62nd minute, Galsino Briñas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galsino Briñas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galsino Briñas in the 65th minute of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Serafim Neiva made a huge save. In the 70thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black fox's Serafim Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Black fox booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Galsino Briñas notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rigoberto Piearres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
