Bruce Lee F.C.'s Luís Fernando de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulev Antsov in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruce Lee F.C.'s Iker Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 14th minute of play. Isaias Primo scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Moises Gayoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 minutes, Anthony Alvarado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peru and the Bruce Lee F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bruce Lee F.C.:s goal. The referee gave Bruce Lee F.C. a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Fernando de Salles, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. 1-2. After 37 minutes Bruce Lee F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Bruce Lee F.C.'s Iker Yashin managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Bruce Lee F.C.'s Carmelo Muno got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christian Wiklund in the 56 minute of the game. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bruce Lee F.C.'s goalkeeper Iker Yashin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iker Yashin came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Bruce Lee F.C. were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Fernando de Salles took the corner. Luz Tejedor charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luz Tejedor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 79 minutes into the match, Sulev Antsov notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Slavyan Geranov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. The supporters of Peru booed when Bruce Lee F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Slavyan Geranov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Lauro Carneiro came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bruce Lee F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bruce Lee F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
