Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sultan-Mehmet Khan in the 11th minute of play. Gustavo Mourato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Sultan-Mehmet Khan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Joel Gaona played forward. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

✩ Pep Team ✩'s Spase Kastrati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save ✩ Pep Team ✩ from getting a goal against them. Eurico Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spase Kastrati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sultan-Mehmet Khan in the 88th minute of play. Spase Kastrati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Gustavo Mourato came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the ✩ Pep Team ✩ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Mourato couldn't finish the play. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Sultan-Mehmet Khan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Macos Graciani in the 95 minute of the game. The Mexico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented ✩ Pep Team ✩ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
