The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Karhan Siralp came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janar Lehismets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. New Loser FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Loser FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Janar Lehismets despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Janar Lehismets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Murilo Paraíba tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Janar Lehismets quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Nunes in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper Janar Lehismets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita's late challenge caught a New Loser FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Loser FC. In the 65thth minute of the game Karhan Siralp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alexandros Pantazakos hit a great ball. With a little luck, New Loser FC's Janar Lehismets got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Karhan Siralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Viña kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karhan Siralp in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Janar Lehismets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The New Loser FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
