Görkem Büyükada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Görkem Büyükada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 minutes Real Trabzon Sk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Zekeriya Özbekkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Görkem Büyükada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Ahmet Harun Karasu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Trabzon Sk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Harun Karasu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demircan Sabir's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demircan Sabir helped the player get up and apologised. Demircan Sabir hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Görkem Büyükada made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Görkem Büyükada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 56th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Görkem Büyükada. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 60th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Görkem Büyükada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Görkem Büyükada in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Görkem Büyükada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlkan Barlas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Görkem Büyükada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 81 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Görkem Büyükada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Zekeriya Özbekkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Trabzon Sk's supporters rose to their feet, but Zekeriya Özbekkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Görkem Büyükada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than Real Trabzon Sk and deserved their victory. The Real Trabzon Sk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
