Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. C.J. 张俊朗 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aipytos Stavropoulos fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Proud FC's protests and gave Aipytos Stavropoulos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Red Proud FC's Aipytos Stavropoulos got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 20th minute. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. C.J. 张俊朗 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Romeo Lechințan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 30th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but C.J. 张俊朗 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aipytos Stavropoulos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 61st minute, Fan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Red Proud FC's goalkeeper C.J. 张俊朗 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Felix Luque fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and C.J. 张俊朗 quite easily take care of the ball. With 71 minutes on the clock, Aipytos Stavropoulos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Red Proud FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised C.J. 张俊朗. C.J. 张俊朗 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. C.J. 张俊朗 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 82nd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Red Proud FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Furo Rede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but C.J. 张俊朗 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but C.J. 张俊朗 made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. C.J. 张俊朗 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
