Hernan Goren made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tomas Berganza sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Hernan Goren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abraham Alguacil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hernan Goren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hernan Goren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. In the 41st match minute, BERMEJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Ayala to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernan Goren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Lorien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Goren. Hernan Goren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Goren having to interfere. BERMEJO's Bruno Romildo was substituted for Joaquin Lorien. 67 minutes into the game, one of Panama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Panama:s Marcos Cotilla showed great skill when he stopped Rogelio Senen:s penalty. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Javier Burutzagi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th match minute, BERMEJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Dantae to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 76th minute of play forced BERMEJO's goalkeeper Hernan Goren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Panama booed when BERMEJO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 92nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Bruno Romildo sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute Panama were awarded a corner. Abraham Alguacil went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BERMEJO's Hernan Goren did a great save.
