Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talento Futebol clube the free kick. After 7 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Abdulaziz Onsoy sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gualter Proença showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Abdulaziz Onsoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulaziz Onsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but José Maria Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Souza having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraco Zago to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talento Futebol clube the free kick. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulaziz Onsoy in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Joel Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
