Noel Seide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes, Ildefonso Nel made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Haiti's Noel Seide tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Etxatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ildefonso Nel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Seide. That made the score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. In the 61st minute, Ildefonso Nel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noel Seide was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Irrintzi in the 71st minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Isidro Raebert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Ernso Constant quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Ildefonso Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Ildefonso Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Nel. Colchoneros Social Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
