Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loreto Palanques was left in no man's land by his defense there! Loreto Palanques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loreto Palanques having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Loreto Palanques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Felix Montenegro with Daniel Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 20th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loreto Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Loreto Palanques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Hipolito Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AlmaToran's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loreto Palanques came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hipolito Ponce, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Julio Vera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loreto Palanques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hipolito Ponce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arotza Dobarral kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AlmaToran's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loreto Palanques came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Loreto Palanques made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goalkeeper Loreto Palanques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loreto Palanques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AlmaToran made a substitution. Aztore Aroztegui replaced Chale Trabeso. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arotza Dobarral was slow to take the kick. During this time AlmaToran's players had a chance to rest. Camilo Gisbert tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Julio Vera. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-3 in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loreto Palanques having to interfere. Chan Mariny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loreto Palanques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loreto Palanques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loreto Palanques in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loreto Palanques was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 92 minutes into the game, Lope Lortia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AlmaToran's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Lope Lortia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loreto Palanques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AlmaToran throughout the match.
