Loreto Palanques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 12th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, AlmaToran's Arotza Dobarral made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chan Mariny kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Loreto Palanques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AlmaToran's Hipolito Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chabier Omente kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 38th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loreto Palanques was left in no man's land by his defense there! The attack was good, but when Francisco Seco in the 42nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, AlmaToran's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Loreto Palanques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AlmaToran made a substitution. Aztore Aroztegui replaced Chale Trabeso. 69 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Ponce came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Hipolito Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. AlmaToran's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute Hipolito Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Rodrigo Garival got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 88 minutes into the match, Hipolito Ponce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Ponce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
