Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1. FC Krotoszyn the free kick. After 33 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Wawrzyniec Kisielka in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 35th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Wawrzyniec Kisielka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
