Leripe Lifestyle's Bernardinho Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. 36 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's Juan-Carlos Cervantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Paredes Soberano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan-Carlos Cervantes went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Madureira in the 87th minute of the match. Paredes Soberano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Madureira came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
