Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Rosa in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Paraná Clube PG got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mazinho Valadares ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Paraná Clube PG's corner Angelo Gaspar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Eger in the 8th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Oswaldo Velloso made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, Roberto Eger notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Gabriel Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Roberto Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Paraná Clube PG's Roberto Eger. But to his dismay, Roberto Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Angelo Gaspar got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roberto Eger. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Eger in the 41st minute of play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Roberto Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Eger to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roberto Eger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Paraná Clube PG booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Eger came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. In the 62nd minute Paraná Clube PG were awarded a corner. Mazinho Valadares went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 66th minute, Paraná Clube PG's Ernani Rosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Eger got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paraná Clube PG made a substitution. Zé Castro replaced Kauan Negri. Paraná Clube PG made a substitution. André Luiz Fonseca replaced Angelo Gaspar. In the 79thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraná Clube PG's Oswaldo Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Barnaba Marud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
