In the 5th match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Adriano Almeida in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Afonso Portugal hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Neiva during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leal Valido having to interfere. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serkan Günden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. The throw-in from Valentín Carvallo in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LA COSA NOSTRA's Adriano Almeida. Leal Valido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute 乔义竞 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bebeto Aguiar was slow to take the kick. During this time LA COSA NOSTRA's players had a chance to rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serkan Günden was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Adriano Almeida got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 乔义竞, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute of the game Adriano Almeida made a throw-in which Serkan Günden played forward. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Serkan Günden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 66th match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serkan Günden to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Leal Valido made a huge save. In the 69th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Adriano Almeida tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Leal Valido. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 69th minute. In the 72nd match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Almeida to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leal Valido. That made the score 1-2 after 78 minutes of play. If Serkan Günden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Valido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Honduras's corner Esteban Carvallo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leal Valido quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to LA COSA NOSTRA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bebeto Aguiar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Serkan Günden managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA COSA NOSTRA's supporters rose to their feet, but Serkan Günden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when 乔义竞 came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
