Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lázaro Prestes started the match with the kick off. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Jax Williamson came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Heide FC's Marin Romoşan. But to his dismay, Marin Romoşan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Heide FC's Lázaro Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jax Williamson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Dixon in the 17th minute of play forced Heide FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dziuma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Dziuma came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Canada's Richard Mccarthy. But to his dismay, Richard Mccarthy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Koby Wright came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koby Wright couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Prestes in the 28th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Õnnepalu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Heide FC's Iwan Dziuma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 33rd minute of play. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koby Wright in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the game Alfred John made a throw-in which Luka Harris played forward. The supporters of Canada booed when Heide FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Õnnepalu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Koby Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koby Wright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koby Wright in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Dziuma saved Heide FC from getting behind. Iwan Dziuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rohan Watson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, one of Heide FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Heide FC. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. After a defensive mix-up in Heide FC's zone, Filip Edwards stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Dziuma came out of the goal and Filip Edwards tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heide FC's Leszek Sakowicz was substituted for Moises Berenguer. After some careless play in the Heide FC defense, Theo Burton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Dziuma. The Heide FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Dziuma should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 80th minute of play forced Heide FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dziuma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Edwards in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Heide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Õnnepalu to maneuver through the defense. Jan Dixon struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Iwan Dziuma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canada. 92 minutes into the match, Heide FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Iwan Dziuma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Heide FC got a corner. Canada's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leszek Sakowicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marin Romoşan made a great header on Heide FC's corner, it was just that Canada's Jax Williamson managed to reach the ball for a save.
