Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Avellaneda in the 3rd minute of the match. Jonatan Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When German Brun came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Informaniaticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Brun couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Informaniaticos's Adan Arnalt. But to his dismay, Adan Arnalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Informaniaticos booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Matias Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Matias Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Informaniaticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Informaniaticos's Adan Arnalt. But to his dismay, Adan Arnalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Arnalt in the 28th minute of play. Alan Moruga got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Brun in the 33rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Arnalt came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adan Arnalt scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute Matias Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ricky Langdon took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Informaniaticos's Jonathan Montel was substituted for German Brun. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Informaniaticos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonatan Cloyo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. If Jonathan Montel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Informaniaticos's Jonatan Cloyo. Jonatan Cloyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Matias Avellaneda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-7. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 75 minutes into the match, Matias Avellaneda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Avellaneda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. In the 79th match minute, Informaniaticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eberhard Pietta to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Jonathan Montel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Matias Avellaneda sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhard Pietta in the 87th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute, Jonathan Montel made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-11.
