Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gregorio Hotz made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Hotz in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Hotz in the 7th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Edwardo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Iztal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Espirillo FC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Espirillo FC's Gregorio Hotz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Gregorio Hotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Gregorio Hotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Espirillo FC's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Iztal came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute. After 30 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Edwardo. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Iztal quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Iztal. The goal made the score 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Hotz in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 43rd minute Gregorio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Cutberto in the 45th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute of play. After 52 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Cristos. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Cutberto in the 58th minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jorge Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espirillo FC made a substitution. Joaquim Fernandes replaced Aaron Cutberto. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Elia, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Arotza in the 67th minute. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Espirillo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
