In the 8th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Paulo Maldini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, CA Trapito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nejat Alp Köker to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Huib Haar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. CA Trapito's Teofilo Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 23rd minute of play. When Paulo Maldini fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Trapito's protests and gave Paulo Maldini a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chile booed when CA Trapito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Maldini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Teofilo Faro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, CA Trapito's Teofilo Faro got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tristan Sama took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Chile's Orlando Casaus got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Nejat Alp Köker went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Jaakob Snow heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huib Haar in the 79th minute. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CA Trapito had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
