Zygmunt Chrobak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alperen Bozkurt made a huge save. After some careless play in the Kolembród Jasło defense, Horácio Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Czeslaw Wierzcholek. The Kolembród Jasło fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Czeslaw Wierzcholek should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Czeslaw Wierzcholek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Horácio Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Horácio Gonçalves notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Kolembród Jasło's Czeslaw Wierzcholek. Czeslaw Wierzcholek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Czeslaw Wierzcholek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golaki Goiano in the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Golaki Goiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Czeslaw Wierzcholek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Golaki Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Claudinho Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Czeslaw Wierzcholek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Czeslaw Wierzcholek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jataiense Futebol Clube's Eurico Rezende was substituted for Luiz Fábio Passos. 56 minutes into the match, Claudinho Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Czeslaw Wierzcholek. Kolembród Jasło's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinho Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Golaki Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Wierzcholek having to interfere. Czeslaw Wierzcholek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Queiroz in the 71st minute of the match. Czeslaw Wierzcholek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes of play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Czeslaw Wierzcholek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jataiense Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
