Mamon Bo Qamaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Remus Talianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flamengo de San Blás's Gilberto Escalona quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrick Rivard, made in the 19th minute of the game. After having played for 20 minutes, Monchi Villalaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo de San Blás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monchi Villalaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flamengo de San Blás's Gilberto Escalona quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrick Rivard, made in the 24th minute of the game. Remus Talianu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monchi Villalaz in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Patrick Rivard threw the ball into play from the sideline. Flamengo de San Blás's Su Xi Zhen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 33rd minute, Flamengo de San Blás's Gilberto Escalona seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilberto Escalona the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Flamengo de San Blás protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilberto Escalona had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a little luck, FC Lutanu's Remus Talianu got control of the ball when Monchi Villalaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lutanu's zone, Monchi Villalaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Talianu came out of the goal and Monchi Villalaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrinho Breckenfeld to make the kick off. Monchi Villalaz struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Remus Talianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo de San Blás. Remus Talianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monchi Villalaz in the 54th minute of play. Aurelian Zburlea kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Mervin Lehman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Mamon Bo Qamaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo de San Blás's supporters rose to their feet, but Mamon Bo Qamaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remus Talianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Lutanu's Remus Talianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monchi Villalaz in the 95th minute of play. FC Lutanu succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Flamengo de San Blás had controlled the match.
