Jedrzej Furtok made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koray Tibet in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute, İsmail Cem Eroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Çanakkale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 56 played minutes Rezurekcja Gomulin got a freekick which was hit by Bartlomiej Liermann. Jedrzej Furtok didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İsmail Cem Eroğlu went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
