The audience was convinced that Meleq Tare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remus Talianu was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Lutanu's Iustinian Munteanu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Philip Aelgoet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 76 played minutes, FC Lutanu's Raymond Roland shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Drini Kapaj came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lutanu reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Aelgoet in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Drini Kapaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mali i Thatë FC's Drini Kapaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Aelgoet in the 89th minute of play. Remus Talianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eneid Ilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Felix Panduru scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Drini Kapaj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Lutanu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mali i Thatë FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
