The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2ndth minute of the game Paskal Ayarza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmund Nocny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Voineag read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmund Nocny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Voineag. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Edmund Nocny had several of the Shohoku FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Gabriel Voineag as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gabriel Voineag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Nocny in the 11th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Shohoku FC defense, Edmund Nocny kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Voineag. The Shohoku FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Voineag should have stopped the shot. Edmund Nocny blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Voineag having to make a save. Paskal Ayarza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gabriel Voineag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Nocny in the 29th minute of play forced Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Voineag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Mark Javia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Guaberto Bento sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Voineag skillfully saved the ball. Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Nocny in the 41st minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paskal Ayarza was the one to do the kick off. Shohoku FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Nocny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 74 minutes into the match, KYRA FC's Edmund Nocny sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Voineag narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Shohoku FC booed when KYRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Bartolome didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torgny Petersson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paskal Ayarza in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Voineag saved Shohoku FC from getting behind. In the 80th match minute, Shohoku FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintán Garland to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Paskal Ayarza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Voineag was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Gabriel Voineag didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Nocny went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Paskal Ayarza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Voineag was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st match minute, Shohoku FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Petersson to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Paskal Ayarza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Voineag was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Shohoku FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KYRA FC.
