In the 5th minute Sergey Nikiforenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Nando Pereira. 22 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Bumin Hızlan came free, but Epifanio Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 22nd minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Epifanio Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a corner. Penuel Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jesús Martín ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jesús Martín made a great header on Defensores del Tiki Tiki's corner, it was just that Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Furtado Ozaolaza to maneuver through the defense. Sergey Nikiforenko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Gabrio having to make a save. After 28 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Furtado Ozaolaza. In the 29th minute Atilla Bumin Hızlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Martín in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Jesús Martín left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 41 minutes in the game Orlando Lucian did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sergey Nikiforenko. If Atilla Bumin Hızlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Penuel Football Club's Epifanio Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 47th minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atilla Bumin Hızlan made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Damian Laurentzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Gabrio. Penuel Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Laurentzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Atilla Bumin Hızlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Gabrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilla Bumin Hızlan ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Epifanio Gabrio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Victor Amato hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Bernát Szuper replaced Sergey Nikiforenko. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Jesús Martín shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Epifanio Gabrio but with some difficulty. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Defensores del Tiki Tiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Felipe Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge-Luis Borges in the 83rd minute of play. If Damian Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hampus Nordström took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Gabrio. Epifanio Gabrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 89 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge-Luis Borges came free, but Felipe Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge-Luis Borges in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Liher saved Defensores del Tiki Tiki from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Gaskon came free, but Epifanio Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge-Luis Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Defensores del Tiki Tiki supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Defensores del Tiki Tiki would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
