When Isaias Sazon came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sajones F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Sazon couldn't finish the play. Carmelo Gorka hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Roger Junior hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Teo Fidensio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Frantzes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ermegildo Quilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rudolf Meulman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match Sajones F.C. got a corner. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fidel Macerio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fidel Macerio made a great header on Sajones F.C.'s corner, it was just that Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Rudolf Meulman managed to reach the ball for a save. Sajones F.C.'s attentive Fidel Macerio managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Belarmo made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Rudolf Meulman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Sazon in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Nicolas Satordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Olimpo de Bahia Blanca made a substitution. Zé Tola replaced Teo Fidensio. The wind increased when Zé Tola made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Zé Tola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zé Tola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Frantzes was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Sajones F.C.'s Isaias Sazon got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sajones F.C. made a substitution. Conrad Airpoel replaced Fidel Macerio. Eliseo Claude received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rudolf Meulman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Raitin came free, but Rudolf Meulman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Raitin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Meulman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Zé Tola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Zé Tola fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sajones F.C.'s Rucha Dupak was substituted for Halil Niğdeli. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hugo Raitin was slow to take the kick. During this time Sajones F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Raitin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rudolf Meulman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rudolf Meulman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Raitin in the 89th minute of the match. Rudolf Meulman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Hugo Raitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Meulman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Tommi Valkama hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olimpo de Bahia Blanca players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sajones F.C..
