Alejandro Martinez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Felipe Liher 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tao Kuan Hai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huarriors AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tao Kuan Hai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Liher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Felipe Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moreno Torricelli in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Huarriors AFC's Silvano Arano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felipe Liher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 24th minute Atilla Bumin Hızlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Matthew saved Huarriors AFC from getting behind. David Matthew stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergey Nikiforenko's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Atilla Bumin Hızlan spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Huarriors AFC's goal. After a rather tough play, Huarriors AFC's Carl Cassilly got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Huarriors AFC's Alejandro Martinez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvano Arano to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergey Nikiforenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but David Matthew made a huge save. In the 56th minute of the match Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a corner. Huarriors AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jesús Martín ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jesús Martín almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Huarriors AFC's David Matthew did a great save. If Alejandro Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Huarriors AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Cassilly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huarriors AFC made a substitution. Gaspar Precioso replaced Moreno Torricelli. In the 71st minute, Carl Cassilly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper David Matthew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergey Nikiforenko. In the 93rd minute Silvano Arano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Fernanco in the 96th minute of play forced Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Felipe Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
