Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Baumar. Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bartolo Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fortinero hasta la muerte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bartolo Sayvion managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 16thth minute of the game Bruno Beltxe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bartolo Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Rico in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 24th minute Fortinero hasta la muerte were awarded a corner. Benedicto Mino went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartolo Sayvion. Bartolo Sayvion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bruno Beltxe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bartolo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Bruno Beltxe sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Bartolo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Beltxe made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Beltxe came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Bruno Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bartolo Sayvion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 56th minute of play. Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bartolo Sayvion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Fortinero hasta la muerte from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bartolo Sayvion saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bruno Beltxe in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Bartolo Sayvion made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Rico in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bonifacio Rico in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Bartolo Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Bartolo Sayvion made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador played a much better game than Fortinero hasta la muerte and deserved their victory. The Fortinero hasta la muerte players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
