Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 9th minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Nilson Snabl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Manly FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. 15 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ray Clemence made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ray Clemence was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ray Clemence came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ray Clemence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Alexander Arnold got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 43rd minute of the match. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Manly FC's Ray Clemence. Ray Clemence was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mo Salah to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mo Salah in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Aldridge, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes, Duke Carnduff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manly FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Manly FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Aldridge in the 68th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Aldridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pete Wittber hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Ray Clemence threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Alberto Tafalla sped through Manly FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ray Clemence. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 98th minute. Nilson Snabl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
