In the 21st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignaz Pisula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ignaz Pisula made a huge save. KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Ignaz Pisula successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Facundo Cadaval had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignaz Pisula. KF Trepça's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Facundo Cadaval was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Takács in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, KF Trepça's Kiki Kiki got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ignaz Pisula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibaut Zengers, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignaz Pisula. Ignaz Pisula dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when KF Trepça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steen Bonhoeffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignaz Pisula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mexico had played much better football throughout.
