Kong Gang Zhan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. In the 24th of the match, Edmundo Espiga tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Kong Gang Zhan got in the way and made a wonderful save. Kong Gang Zhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd minute of play forced Cremonese FC's goalkeeper Kong Gang Zhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cremonese FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kong Gang Zhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cremonese FC's Kong Gang Zhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 37th minute of play. Jackie Tan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kong Gang Zhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jackie Tan in the 47th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Batista made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Yasar Bonnemain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cremonese FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yasar Bonnemain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kong Gang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kong Gang Zhan saved Cremonese FC from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Batista in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kong Gang Zhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cezary Marchlewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Cremonese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chu Feng Sang didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
