Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cihan Kabil started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kuzey FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihan Kabil didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Hasan Ali Akatay in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 11 minutes, Cihan Kabil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kuzey FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cihan Kabil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Ali Akatay having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Kuzey FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recai Emek to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kuzey FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacettin Özak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hasan Ali Akatay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hasan Ali Akatay was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kutalp Hatemoğlu spun around in front of the goal 45 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Ecuador's goal. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hasan Ali Akatay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kuzey FK's Cihan Kabil got a free kick in the 50th minute. 52 minutes into the match, Kuzey FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hasan Ali Akatay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hasan Ali Akatay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuzey FK's Hasan Ali Akatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ahmet Bülent Uygan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ahmet Bülent Uygan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hasan Ali Akatay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hasan Ali Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 66th minute. Kuzey FK's Neşat Türker was substituted for Esat Yalazabey. In the 67th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Hasan Ali Akatay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasan Ali Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cihan Kabil got free with Julio Vera in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
