When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Eduardo Quinito made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Quinito in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Eduardo Quinito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Eduardo Quinito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The La luz del Lider ❤ fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when La luz del Lider ❤'s Eduardo Quinito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Quinito came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Eduardo Quinito was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After some careless play in the La luz del Lider ❤ defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Baumar. The La luz del Lider ❤ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Baumar should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khaldoun Knorr, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chico Trans hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Bruno Baumar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 94th minute of the match.
