Behe Ruisuarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Cernadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Luís Gustavo Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luís Gustavo Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inko Sagrario during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Mesere's Serafin Cernadas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 5-0 after 33 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Cernadas in the 37th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Gustavo Pimenta during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafin Cernadas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 44 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Gustavo Pimenta made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Pimenta in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Mesere fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Mesere's Luís Gustavo Pimenta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute Luís Gustavo Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mesere's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Behe Ruisuarez in the 64th minute. After taking down the ball on Mesere's corner Behe Ruisuarez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Luís Gustavo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Pimenta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Luís Gustavo Pimenta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Mesere made a substitution. Edgard Maya replaced Luís Gustavo Pimenta. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Mesere's Edgard Maya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edgard Maya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Mesere walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
