Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Jaroslav Nechvátal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Cabral to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Mauro Loureiro got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Cabral in the 55th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bernardo Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club A. Chipa y Tereré's protests and gave Bernardo Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Club A. Reynaldo Inge made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Mauro Loureiro hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslav Nechvátal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Jaroslav Nechvátal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslav Nechvátal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Club A. Chipa y Tereré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
